Joanna Strycharz, and her co-author Claire Segijn, have been awarded the AEJMC Emerging Scholar Grant for their project titled: "A Change in Media Diet as a Result of Corporate Surveillance: A Comparison between the US and Europe".

Strycharz and Segijn will explore the impact of different data collection methods for personalized advertising on media behavior of individuals in the US and the Netherlands. More information on the project can be found here.
