Theo Araujo and Nadine Bol were awarded the Jake Liang top paper award for their paper "From speaking like a person to being personal: The effects of personalised, regular interactions with conversational agents".

This award was presented by the Human-Machine Communication interest group and awarded to Theo during their pre-conference. The paper, a collaboration between the Persuasive and Corporate Communication program groups, was part of the seed funding program for innovative methodological research from the RPA Communication and its Digital Communication Methods Lab.
