Hi, I am Lukas and I'm from Berlin. After finishing the pre-Master's programme in Communication Science I am now studying the Corporate Communication Master's here at the UvA. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Science with a focus on Linguistics and Social Sciences. Being enrolled in the Corporate Communication track, I am interested in the communicative challenges organisations have to face.

The UvA offers an international environment and a unique social atmosphere in the center of a highly diverse, progressive city. Working with aspiring communication specialists from all over the world and all kinds of backgrounds is as inspiring as it is rewarding.

Looking for the Master’s program that suits you best, you sometimes find yourself disoriented by the immense offer of opportunities you are given. I am happy to help you find out whether Communication Science is the right Master’s for you. Feel free to contact me if you have questions about the programme, the social life, the city, or the academic environment here at UvA.

Hello! I am currently studying the Persuasive Communication Master's track here at the University of Amsterdam. I'm originally from East Sussex, England and studied my Bachelor's at the University of Manchester. Since then I have been working in a number of journalistic and editorial roles in London and during this time I decided to take my career down the marketing route. I had always wanted to do a Master's after my Bachelor's and I'm glad I spent a couple of years working out exactly what I wanted to do. I'm also especially glad I decided to do it in another country, particularly in a place as vibrant as Amsterdam.

Other than studying I enjoy cycling around the city (it's too scary in London!), running, hiking, exploring the Netherlands, travelling, animals, cooking and above all - eating.  Let me know if you have any questions regarding one of the tracks or my life in Amsterdam.
