Let us introduce ourselves
Hi! I am Kärt from Estonia (and yes, that’s a girl name)! I am currently studying in the pre-Master’s programme for Communication Science at the UvA to continue with the Master's in Political Communication. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication from the University of Tartu (Estonia) dating 4 years back, so I had plenty of time to choose the best univesity and programme for myself!
Choosing the right university and Master’s programme is an important decision. If you are facing this decision right now and if you are considering the University of Amsterdam as your future university to obtain a Master's in Communication Science, you can turn to me with questions. I would be glad to answer any questions you have about the Communication Science programmes at the UvA, the academic environment here or even more generally, student life in Amsterdam.
Hi, I am Lukas and I'm from Berlin. After finishing the pre-Master's programme in Communication Science I am now studying the Corporate Communication Master's here at the UvA. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Science with a focus on Linguistics and Social Sciences. Being enrolled in the Corporate Communication track, I am interested in the communicative challenges organisations have to face.
The UvA offers an international environment and a unique social atmosphere in the center of a highly diverse, progressive city. Working with aspiring communication specialists from all over the world and all kinds of backgrounds is as inspiring as it is rewarding.
Looking for the Master’s program that suits you best, you sometimes find yourself disoriented by the immense offer of opportunities you are given. I am happy to help you find out whether Communication Science is the right Master’s for you. Feel free to contact me if you have questions about the programme, the social life, the city, or the academic environment here at UvA.
